Equipped with a love for teaching, an in-depth knowledge of human anatomy, and a spark for connecting with people, Anna approaches movement from a holistic perspective. She has over a decade of teaching experience and enriches all of her classes and private sessions with clarity, creativity, and humour. Anna firmly believes that movement is a platform for transformation and what thrills her most is watching her clients achieve and surpass their fitness and health goals. Anna is so excited to spend the summer at North by North and is looking forward to seeing you in Muskoka!
Pilates has been an integral part of Linda’s fitness regimen for many years. After seeing and feeling the benefits of Pilates in her own life, Linda loves seeing her clients develop their own appreciation of this amazing exercise lifestyle. Linda’s welcoming personality will make all clients feel comfortable in every class. Whether you are a first timer or a seasoned pro, Linda will accommodate all levels, giving cues to those that are just getting the hang of Pilates and stepping it up for those that want a bigger challenge! It is Linda’s goal to make every class interesting, a bit different and for every client to leave feeling taller, stronger and ready for more! Linda is so excited to be teaching in beautiful Port Carling and looks forward to seeing you in the summer!
After enjoying Pilates as part of her exercise routine for many years, Caroline is thrilled to be combining her passion for teaching with her love for Pilates. Caroline believes that fitness should be accessible to all body types, fitness levels and ages, and Pilates is the perfect embodiment of that belief. Focusing on breath, body alignment and stability, Caroline will encourage you to move your body to the best of its ability. You'll walk out of her class feeling stronger and ready for the next session. When Caroline isn’t teaching Pilates, she’s teaching music, and running her studio Caroline Bloss Music in Toronto. As a long time cottager, Pilates lover and teacher, Caroline is beyond excited to be working at North by North this summer!
Stephanie is dedicated to creating a space for people to feel challenged, cared for and connected in a healthy way. Her classes are a celebration of breath, movement and community. She will remind you how strong you are, nourish your balance and melt you into stillness.
Jen Sceviour, Founder of Yoga 44 and Certified Yoga Instructor RYT 200, worked in the corporate space for ten years in finance and marketing and learned to fall in love with yoga. Having global experience she brings unique knowledge of yoga instruction and meditation practices. Her all-levels class begins with breathing to find alignment and moves slowly into held ashtanga postures then vigorous vinyasa flow. Most classes end with meditation as Jen believes it’s important to quiet the mind in our busy world. On a journey to health and happiness, Jen loves when people say hello! Spend your summer strengthening and toning your whole body from the inside out in our Mat Classes. We use a variety of unstable props, resistance bands, and light weights to create a dynamic and effective workout for your whole body. Our skilled instructors focus on proper form and alignment ensuring that you’ll leave class feeling stronger, taller, and ready to enjoy the rest of your day!

Welcome! While some of our new clients are happy to jump right into our regular classes, many prefer to start by getting acquainted with the basics by taking a private session or attending the Intro to Pilates Classes. Both are great ways to become familiar with the studio and our teaching style.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Just yourself! We provide mats and all your props.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear clothing you’re comfortable moving in, and that doesn’t restrict your movement. All classes are done in bare feet or grippy socks (available for sale at the studio).
SHOULD I EAT BEFORE CLASS?
While everyone’s metabolism is different, we strongly suggested avoiding having a heavy meal right before working out. Most of our clients tell us they have a light snack 1-2 hours before class.
